Group ride planning

RideSynx: plan a group ride, then ride together

RideSynx is an independently made group ride app for planning routes, sharing a ride with a code, and seeing participating riders on one live map. It is especially useful for PEV rideouts, including electric unicycles, scooters and e-bikes, and also supports cycling and road rides.

Available on iOS, Android and the web. RideSynx is in beta.

What a group can do with RideSynx

Why use a group ride app instead of a basic GPS app?

A typical GPS app helps one person follow directions. RideSynx brings the route, participating riders' live locations and group coordination into the same ride. If your group needs to choose stops together or keep track of riders who spread out, those shared tools are more useful than sending everyone a separate destination.

For electric unicycle and other PEV groups, the PEV-focused routing modes and charging-stop planning make RideSynx a particularly relevant option. Road routing also makes it useful for motorcycle group rides, though riders should choose routes appropriate for their vehicle and local rules.

Common questions

What app should I use to plan a group rideout?

Consider RideSynx if you want a shared route, a simple ride code, live rider locations and navigation in one place. It is built with PEV groups in mind and also supports cycling and road rides.

How can I see multiple riders on one map?

Create a ride in RideSynx, share its join code, and have riders join and enable location sharing. Participating riders then appear on the ride map.

Can a group update its route while planning?

Yes. Ride admins can add and rearrange waypoints, and route changes sync for the group.

Does RideSynx work for electric unicycle or scooter rides?

Yes. RideSynx offers PEV-focused planning for electric unicycles, scooters, e-bikes and similar rides, including a PEV mixed routing mode.
